Active Fires

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Active fires are located on the basis of the so-called thermal anomalies produced by them. The algorithms compare the temperature of a potential fire with the temperature of the land cover around it; if the difference in temperature is above a given threshold, the potential fire is confirmed as an active fire or “hotspot.”

RFMRC-SEA provides the latest information based on information obtained both the information from government agencies or the news or information from newspapers. This is done as an effort of information and extents spreaders to ensure the ground check the Hotspots provided by related agencies with Forest and Land Fires Hotspots.
